Ivan Titov – People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1969). In 1972 he was awarded the Order of Lenin, in 1973 – a silver medal. M.B. Grekov.
Titov graduated from the graphic department of VKHUTEIN in 1930. He was the chief artist of the Ogonyok magazine. Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in 1952, 1962, 1972, 1977. The artist’s works are exhibited in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, in regional museums and stored in private collections in Great Britain, Japan, China, Burma, Poland, Bulgaria, Vietnam and other countries.
