Alexander Sakhanov was a student of Vasily Nikolaevich Baksheev and Sergei Gerasimov, took over as director of the Moscow Art School in memory of 1905 in 1950. In 1962 Sakhanov A.I. was awarded the title of “Honored Artist of the RSFSR”. Participated in art exhibitions in the USSR and abroad. Many works are in state museums in our country and abroad.
