Alexey Skvortsov was born in 1916 in the village. Korovaiko, Moscow region He graduated from the Moscow Art — Industrial School. M.I. Kalinin in 1937 Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin graduated in 1951.
Became a member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1951.
The artist’s works are in museums and art galleries in Moscow, St. Petersburg, etc. After graduating from the institute, he worked as Deputy. and head of the IZO Department of the Committee for Arts under the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR, as well as in IZOGIZE, the Institute of the Art Industry., Ch. Detsky Mir artist. The artist worked as the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Technology at MIT, and then the head. chair of painting and drawing from the end of 1950 .
